Published fee and graduation model
The public fees page says coin creation has no platform fee but requires network costs; SOL/USDC bonding-curve trades have a 1.25% total fee (0.30% creator, 0.95% protocol), and coins can graduate to a canonical PumpSwap pool. Graduated fees are tiered. This is not enough to reconstruct exact curve parameters or transaction code.
pump.fun/docs/feesTeardown access limitation
REA browser inspection observed a Cloudflare 'Just a moment' challenge rather than the app. Bundle analysis captured challenge scripts only, with no verified application endpoints or routes. No bypass attempted; backend internals and live API shapes remain unknown.
Homepage and discovery behavior
The public homepage presents a search bar and sign-in, Feed/Coins navigation, coin categories Trending, Movers, Mayhem, New, Graduated, Most holders and Soon, time filters 1h/4h/12h/24h, price and market-cap entries, social callouts and a trader/earner/squad leaderboard. It also displays privacy choices and an 18+ welcome notice.
pump.fun# Launchpad — clean-room paper trading demo An independent, fictional discovery and coin-creation demo inspired by publicly observable pump.fun product surfaces. It is **not affiliated with pump.fun**. No real coins, balances, market data, wallets, transactions, social accounts, or funds are involved. ## Run Requires a modern browser. From this directory run: ```sh python3 -m http.server 8000 ``` Open <http://localhost:8000>. No build step, server API, dependencies, or credentials are needed. The optional Google Fonts CSS import may make an external request; system fonts are used if unavailable. ## Using the demo - Search by name, ticker or creator; use the Feed/Coins tabs, category filters, time filters, and Show more. Categories and sample statistics are invented. The time filters scale seeded changes for illustration, not historical price data. - Select a card for its details and buy/sell paper tokens. The account starts with 100 simulated SOL. Enter an amount to preview, then submit. Open Portfolio for holdings, activity, and reset. The header offers coin creation; created coins appear under New. - Balances, coin reserves, locally created coins and recent activity are saved in browser localStorage under `launchpad-paper-v1`. Reset in Portfolio removes them. Nothing is synchronized between browsers or devices. ## Simulation model Each coin has fictional SOL and token reserves. Price is SOL reserve divided by token reserve; the USD display assumes a fixed $150 per SOL. Market cap is that price times an assumed 1,000,000 tokens. A buy applies a 1.25% fee to input SOL, then gives `tokenReserve * netSOL / (solReserve + netSOL)` tokens. A sell gives `solReserve * tokensIn / (tokenReserve + tokensIn)` SOL before a 1.25% fee. Reserves update after each trade. This simple constant-product model is **not** the actual Pump bonding curve, and fees are not sent anywhere. Holder counts, percentages, categories, leaderboards, feed and the graduation label are illustrative and do not automatically evolve with trading. ## Research and limitations The public homepage showed discovery categories, time filters, coin metrics, feed and leaderboards. The public [fee documentation](https://pump.fun/docs/fees) describes a 1.25% total fee for SOL/USDC bonding-curve trades and graduation to a PumpSwap pool. Browser teardown encountered a Cloudflare challenge; no bypass was attempted. App bundles, actual APIs, routes, reserve parameters, transaction code and exact behavior could not be verified. The implementation is an approximation, not a live integration or a replica of proprietary code or assets. Real trading, wallet connection, authentication, actual graduation, notifications and a backend are deliberately absent.
